Protegiendo la democracia

Strengthen democratic institutions and civil rights by upholding the rule of law.

Promote the development of more accessible, efficient, and reliable government systems and institutions.

Secure basic needs, like housing, healthcare, education, transportation, and safety for all Denverites through strong public services.

Address climate change, environmental pollution, and their impacts on health and quality of life.

Reduce inequality and economic insecurity through business development that promotes fair labor practices and organized labor.

End the U.S War Machine by redirecting the federal budget away from the military and towards funding universal healthcare, universal childcare, and housing for all; taxing corporations who profit off war; calling for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza; and bringing U.S. troops home. 

Los Demócratas de Denver creen que la democracia está bajo ataque y debe ser protegida. Cada ciudadano tiene la obligación de informarse y compartir hechos con calma, oponerse a las mentiras, apoyar a candidatos o postularse para un cargo público. Damos la bienvenida a comunidades diversas a través del registro de votantes, la defensa o el rechazo de leyes, y la participación en el proceso democrático. La democracia depende de la capacidad de cada ciudadano para votar, de que cada voto cuente, y de que las elecciones estén libres de dinero oscuro, influencia corporativa o interferencia política.
