Hello Denver Democrats!
What a wild ride the last few months have been. I hope the newly elected leaders are settling into their roles and the re-elected leaders are continuing their amazing work! I know the DPOD officers have been hard at work to ensure we do our best to fill the big shoe prints left before us.
Speaking of shoes, I hope you’ve had your volunteer shoes on the last few weeks! Ballots have been mailed, and it’s time to make sure we get each and every Democrat out to vote! While DPOD doesn’t endorse in nonpartisan elections, we are still responsible for getting Democrats to the polls! Ballots are due June 6th by 7 p.m. That means if you don’t mail it in by May 30th, you have to drop it off in person. Learn more about run-off deadlines here.
Lastly, I want to remind you that DPOD has our annual Spring Fundraiser on Thursday, June 1st starting at 5 p.m.! The Fundraising Committee, led by the Honorable Marc Kamin, has been hard at work to make sure this event is successful, but we can’t do it without you! If you haven’t bought your ticket, click here! Tickets will sell out soon, and we wouldn’t want you to miss out on all the fun! Tickets start at $75 with sponsorship and young activist levels available. This will be a great opportunity to mingle with some of the Denver delegation while donating to the party to ensure we can continue the fight.
