This Privacy Policy applies to the website https://www.denverdemocrats.org (the “Site”) owned and operated by the Democratic Party of Denver (DPOD), a registered Political Party with the Colorado Secretary of State.

DPOD has created this privacy policy to explain how we use information you may provide while visiting this Site and demonstrate our firm commitment to Internet privacy. DPOD may modify this policy from time to time, so we encourage you to check this page when revisiting this Site. By using this Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

How we use your information

When you register, contribute, sign up to volunteer, or take any other action on our Site, we may ask you to give us contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, mobile telephone number, and/or e-mail address. We may obtain information about you from outside sources and add it to or combine it with the information we collect through this Site.

We use this information to operate this Site, send you news and information about DPOD activities, and solicit your participation in DPOD activities and related uses. We use your e-mail address to send such information by e-mail and may use your telephone number to call you or send you a text message or phone call for these purposes.

  • To companies that assist us in maintaining this Site or with the DPOD activities, but only for purposes of providing services to DPOD and with the strict requirement that any such company will never itself have the right to contact you for any reason;

Submitting your personal information (including e-mail address) on this page will sign you up to receive e-mails from DPOD. We may also use your first name to indicate the latest actions taken on this site.

Child privacy

DPOD complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. DPOD does not solicit and does not accept personally identifying information from anyone under 13 years of age.

Although we make reasonable faith efforts to store information collected by this Site in a secure operating environment, we cannot guarantee complete security.
