The Democratic Party of Denver has adopted the following resolution in support of striking workers: Whereas, UAW workers across the nation and in Colorado are currently on strike; and
Whereas, union members who are a part of the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions, including thousands of Colorado healthcare workers who are members of SEIU Local 105, have set a strike deadline of October 4th; and
Whereas, the Denver Democratic Party holds as one of its core values support for workers and for labor rights;
Therefore be it resolved that the Denver Democratic Party stands with these union autoworkers and healthcare workers in their struggles for worker justice, and we encourage all Democrats in Denver to do the same.
