Gloria Travis Tanner was the first Black woman to serve in the Colorado Senate. Founder of Colorado Black Women for Political Action and the co-creator of the National Organization of Black Elected Legislators, Gloria was a trailblazer who had a significant positive impact on communities across the state. We are honored to celebrate her incredible legacy.
