1.  We are working on a template to give to the Precinct Organizers to introduce themselves to some of their voters that may be hesitant to vote. More information is forthcoming. Once the template is finished you will fill it out and return it to the email sent with the template if you need your precinct fliers printed. We will be purchasing cardstock for this purpose. On the template will be a QR code for the voter to tell us what their top three concerns are. Once the templates are completed and picked up for distribution, you will have 90 days to complete the lit drop and notify a leader of your housing district that you have completed the drop. Once we have all the templates returned, we will begin compiling the concerns. We will compile those concerns and get them to our local, state or federal legislator for further information or next steps. This will be our effort to help increase voter turnout in our house district with the upcoming elections.

2. With School Board Elections coming up here is some information regarding voter turnout. Please know that ultra conservatives interest groups like Moms for Liberty, Ready Colorado, ALEC are influencing our school board elections supporting vouchers, abolishing DEI programs, collective bargaining agreements and banning books programs. Reform organizations spent over one million dollars in all forms of publication and social media along with door knocking to losing candidates. The union and its independent expenditure committee spent a little over five hundred thousand dollars to elect candidates who would more fairly represent our Democratic values. When the Republicans recommended candidates two local political offices and school board elections. Eleven out of sixteen of their candidates won. The candidate for District 4, Mr. Harris changed his party affiliation from Republican to Democrat approximately four to five weeks ago as of May 9, 2025. Final thought Advance Colorado proposed that Amendment 80 put private and home schooling in our state constitution. We need to do all we can to increase our voter turnout! 106,473 Democratic voters did not vote; 43,440 voters aged 34 and under did not vote.
