US Representative Diana DeGette

It’s hard to believe it’s only been 100 days since Donald Trump returned to the White House. Honestly, it's felt more like 100 years. Donald Trump has made it clear that he sees no limits to presidential power. Each day seems to bring a new example of him testing how far he can take his authority without consequence.I want you to know I’m ready to meet him at every turn. Before I came to Congress, I was a civil rights attorney. I’ve spent my career standing up for people and for the rule of law, and I’m proud to continue that fight in the House. Earlier this month, I joined the House Democrats’ Rapid Response Task Force and the Litigation Working Group, where we're coordinating legal strategies to push back against this administration’s lawlessness. We’ve already filed several amicus briefs in key court cases challenging Trump’s executive overreach, and we’re just getting started.

Colorado Black Women for Political Action states that   Colorado Municipal League is urging that Governor Polis not sign Senate Bill 001 into law when the presidential administration is actively working to dismantle the civil rights our ancestors fought for.  Despite systematic barriers and relentless opposition, we have pressed forward with unwavering belief in justice and democracy and will not allow this historic moment be denied.

Colorado Secretary of State and Candidate for Attorney General Griswold

I grew up in a working-class family in Estes Park. At times, we relied on food stamps to get by. I was the first in my family to attend a four-year college, and I worked hard every step of the way to earn my law degree and dedicate my life to public service.

I’ve never backed down from a tough fight. When Donald Trump and his MAGA allies attacked our elections, I stood up to them because Coloradans deserve leaders who will defend our freedoms.

As Secretary of State, I protected our elections and held the line against threats to our democracy, disinformation, and even death threats.

Now, I’m running to be Colorado’s next Attorney General so I can keep fighting for justice, fairness, and the Colorado way of life.
